4.11 Ball Handling & Footwork Clinic Basketball

This clinic builds the essential handle and movement skills young athletes need to feel comfortable and confident with the ball.
The focus is on developing control, coordination, and footwork fundamentals in a positive learning environment. Players will learn how to dribble with both hands, move safely in different directions, and establish strong balance and stopping mechanics.
Sessions use fun challenges and small-sided games to keep athletes engaged while reinforcing skill development.
π§π»βπ€βπ§π»The clinic will be divided into two age-based sessions:
- Ages 6-10: 9:30 AM - 11 AM
- Ages 11-17: 11:30 AM - 1 PM
Participants should register for the session that corresponds with their age group.

- Stationary ball control
- Dribbling with both hands
- Change of speed and direction basics
- Ball protection fundamentals
- Jump stops and stride stops
- Pivoting and triple-threat stance
- Jab steps and attack footwork
- Balance and body control
Athletes leave with tighter handle foundations, improved coordination, and greater confidence bringing the ball up the court.
